This pedal, reminiscent of a Triangle Big Muff, has been a key element in the band's sound, and today, Wata and EQD present an official recreated replica, the Hizumitas Fuzz.
This one-of-a-kind fuzz pedal produces unique Big Muff-esque tones with plenty of sonic character and interactive playability. Far from your traditional Big Muff sound, the Hizumitas features a streamlined yet unconventional control setup to jump into the sounds of Wata's crushing guitar tones. The Hizumitas begins with its nontraditional tone control which works somewhat invertedly, where pushing the control counterclockwise will increase treble and let that massive, sharp, buzzing fuzz bloom. Inversely, rolling the tone control clockwise decreases treble and gives the mids and bass a well-deserved boost. Whether you're looking to let the fuzz loose or mellow it out, the Hizumitas shines in every aspect. In addition, the Hizumitas has enough sustain on tap to let your leads or chords ring out wonderfully. Each control on the Hizumitas is highly interactive with the others so finding a unique mix time and time again is no challenge.
The Hizumitas is standout fuzz among its contemporaries and with that special input from Wata herself, this pedal is unlike any other.
